5K Run
Our 43rd Annual AVS 5k Run, the oldest professional Society run on our planet, will be held with our AVS 71st International Symposium & Exhibition in Charlotte, North Carolina. The start and finish are within walking distance of the Charlotte Convention Center. You will receive a run t-shirt, race number, and awards with your entry fee.

Registration Cancellation Policy
Registration Cancellation Policy: All registration cancellations must be sent in writing to Yvonne Towse by August 25, 2025, (yvonne@avs.org) for a full refund of less than $100 or $50 for Students/Daily cancellation fee. After that date, no ends will be given without a valid reason and no refunds or credits for no-shows. In addition, if you cancel your Symposium registration or receive a refund and you paid for a Platinum Membership, your membership dues must be retained to keep your Platinum Membership active. Please note that all refunds will be processed within 30 days of the meeting.
All exhibitor cancellations must be sent in writing to AVS Exhibits by August 25, 2025 (exhibits@avs.org) for a full refund less the $50 cancellation fee for ‘Booth Staff Plus Technical Session’ registrants (there is no cancellation fee for ‘Booth Staff Only’ registrants). After that date, no refunds will be given without a valid reason, and no refunds or credits for no-shows. Please note that all refunds will be processed within 30 days following the meeting.
Lost Badge Policy
Lost Badge Policy: There is a $20 fee for replacement badges so please remember to bring your badge and keep it in a safe place throughout the week.
